Job description

An NHS organisation based in the south of England is looking for a Chief Operating Officer to take full responsibility for all aspects of its operations eg IM&T, payroll, accounts and general management. Applicants will ideally also have some turnaround experience, ideally in an NHS setting. It is essential that applicants have both Public Sector and NHS experience and that they are accustomed to 'hitting milestones'. This is a pressurised position and so candidates must have personal drive and be able to self-manage. The role is also client focused which is why some commercial experience would be an advantage. A significant part of this role will centre around payroll and in particular ESR. This organisation uses Integra and so prior knowledge of this system would be advantageous.
